Burgess joined ZeroEyes in 2021 after coming from Financial Services Consulting, and asset management. Before consulting, Burgess was a Surface Warfare Naval Officer completing multiple deployments in a wartime environment. He finished his service in Foreign Military Sales in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Burgess earned his BS at the United States Naval Academy and MBA at Boston College.

Alan is the Vice President for Education Solutions at ZeroEyes. Prior to joining ZeroEyes to lead a team of passionate professionals dedicated to making a difference in stopping mass shooting, Alan spent 13 years or his career serving the education industry across the US in the security space – ranging from emergency notifications, threat assessment, surveillance, access control, to mental health.
Before he began his corporate career, Alan actually worked in Education, where he was the Director of Marketing and Chief Negotiation Officer at his alma mater, University of Oklahoma.
Brett Handell
Senior Director of Education Solutions at ZeroEyes
Brett was the 35th employee at ZeroEyes and works with the company’s education, and state/local government clients. Prior to his work with ZeroEyes Brett worked for several SaaS organizations helping lead them to IPO.
Brett earned his degree from the University of Massachusetts and resides in Boston.
