Colleen Denston is a trusted advisor in strategic planning for C-Suite and business leaders, with 25+ years of leadership experience in management, finance, and human resources. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Walden University in Human Resources and Information Processing, she has held executive roles as VP of Operations for a national appraisal company and Director of HR for a PK-12 private school, leading teams in cost reduction, product development, mergers, and HR infrastructure. An active volunteer, Colleen has served as Director for the Maryland State Council, Past Director and Workforce Readiness Director for SHRM, Deputy Director for the Maryland State Council, and Director of Government Affairs. She has also held leadership roles in Eastern Shore SHRM and the Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s Employment Relations Committee.Representing MD SHRM, she has testified before legislative bodies and appeared on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal for discussions on financial institutions and consumer credit.
